Tiny Harbor Town

Tiny Harbor Town is the comfort food of this list. You start with a dock and a couple of huts and slowly build out a working fishing village, balancing jobs, resources, and happy little residents.

There's no timer pressure and no energy system that stops you after ten minutes, which is rare and welcome. We found ourselves rearranging buildings just because it looked nicer, not because we had to.

The sim systems are light rather than deep, so strategy fans might want more. As a relaxing builder to open while listening to a podcast, though, it's close to perfect.
