Adventure
Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollow Lantern is quiet in the best way. You explore a foggy coastal town one tap at a time, solving environmental puzzles and piecing together why everyone left. The atmosphere does a lot of heavy lifting and it works.
Puzzles are fair. We only got stuck once, and the answer was sitting there the whole time. The game trusts you to notice details rather than spelling everything out, which made the solutions feel earned.
It's short, maybe four hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you like slow, melancholy adventures, this one lingers after the credits.
